Version 1.6 CEPR’s extract of the American Community Survey (ACS) 1-year Public Use Microdata Sample (PUMS) is now available in Comma Separated Values (csv) format for 2005-2019. Download the data here. Lists of variables and value labels have also been added and can be viewed here.
We’ve made several changes to the CEPR extracts of the ACS.
- Added the 2010 data, which can be downloaded here.
- Changed the industry and occupation variables ind_naics05, ind_naics08, ind_naics09, socp05, socp06, and socp10 to allow for comparisons across years. The change affects only the programming, not the data.
- Corrected an error in ftfy, which identifies full-time, full year workers.
Further details about all extract changes are at the bottom of the cepr_acs_master.do file, found with all updated program files here.
