CPS Job Tenure Data

CEPR Uniform Extracts of the CPS Job Tenure Supplement are available in Stata 8/9 format, for every other year during 1998-2004. These data files are generously hosted by the Centre for Economic Performance at the London School of Economics.

Our Stata programs are the major source for information on our extracts. For the Job Tenure supplement, the programs can be found here. Our Stata code show the changes we made to the original raw Job Tenure variables in order to create our extract.

The latest version of the CEPR CPS Job Tenure Uniform Extracts is Version 0.91:

Each compressed file is about 5Mb; uncompressed, each Stata data file is about 35Mb. If you don’t want to download the data, you can replicate the CEPR CPS Job Tenure Uniform Extracts by using our programs. For data in other formats, please contact us.
